I thought mention of Kraftwerk would be appropriate for the vintage geek gadget group. This video clip is from 1975 and goes into where these guys were at that point in time. Check out their instruments! They are so freakin' creative. I love the mention of losing the traditional keyboard in hopes of making a suit lapel that you could play and wear.

I have much love for Kraftwerk. My husband and I went on our first date to a Kraftwerk show in 2004. The auditorium was filled with IT geeks and people dressed in black vinyl of varying ages. The guys in the band are all like farmers in the German countryside with recording studios these days, but the show was still GOOD.

Any other Kraftwerk fans out there?
